Pencil & some rubber to put on top of it. Such an easy concept for all of us. You have a pencil & you have an eraser with a hole in it. You can combine the two of them together by placing the eraser on top of the pencil, yet those kids didn't know what to do with it. They didn't know anything about such "sophisticated gadgets" our kids take every day for granted. Should I say anything more?...
